New Edition of the Telecourse Text
The eighth edition of the recommended telecourse text, Social Gerontology: A Multidisciplinary Perspective, by Nancy R. Hooyman and H. Asuman Kiyak will be published in Spring 2008. The telecourse study guide and other resources for the text will be available to students as a book-specific online supplement, titled MySocKit. Access to this resource will be through a code card packaged with each textbook. An Instructors’ Manual and Test Bank accompanies the text. Essay and short-answer questions are available in a computerized test bank, stored on diskette. The fifth edition of the Growing Old in a New Age Faculty Guide by Kathryn L. Braun and Michael Cheang was published in 2005. Please visit our Course Components page for detailed information on the text and guides.
